WHO IS HIP HOP CAFÉ

Founded by Vernon Mitchell and Chef Sean, 

We began as City Island Juice Bar, which opened its doors in February 2020.  The juice bar offered healthy food options and a comfortable space for City Island residents. 

Despite a successful launch, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic happened a month later and drastically reduced customer flow, challenging the City Island Juice Bar's sustainability.  

In 2023, the company evolved and rebranded as Hip Hop Café; however, maintaining our physical store proved difficult, leading to the closure of our City Island location.

Through our Catering and Private Chef Service, we STILL offer beautiful food and create exceptional and captivating presentations. 

We believe that dining should be an experience that engages all of your senses. That's why we create dishes that not only taste amazing but also look and smell incredible. We believe that every meal should be a celebration and strive to make your experience with us a memorable one.
